The hotel
Sunborn Gibraltar is a 465-foot purpose-built yacht that became the first five-star superyacht hotel in 2013. It is docked in Ocean Village Marina, facing the limestone Rock of Gibraltar.
There are 189 rooms and suites, including six one-bedroom penthouse suites. Breakfast is served in the Barbary Lounge on the top deck, La Sala on the first floor serves tapas-style dishes, and the Aqua and Sapphire bars complete the line-up, together with the Infinity Spa.
Casino Sunborn, billed as the world's first superyacht casino, occupies the ground floor of the vessel.
