The hotel
Tenerife's tourist board calls the Mencey the most emblematic hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife: a five-star hotel in the centre of town that balances respect for its historic building with modern facilities. It has 261 rooms and is surrounded by extensive gardens with a heated outdoor pool.
Facilities include the 4,500 square metre Sensations Spa, an open-air gym, three restaurants, a pool bar, a snack and cocktail bar and event rooms for up to 400 people.
Casino Santa Cruz occupies the ground floor of the hotel, and its restaurant is run by the Hotel Mencey's own staff.
